The power went out only in my home — what should I do?

Check the electrical panel first: if an RCD or breaker is down, try resetting it once. If it trips again, don't force it — there's a fault to locate. If the panel looks fine and there's still no power, it may be a supply or utility company issue.

Why does the RCD trip and refuse to reset?
